La prestigiosa revista australiana Riptide, cada año hace un listado, que segun ellos son los mejores bodyboardes del mundo, en el cual por segundo año consecutivo vuelvena nombrar a Ardiel. Ademas contamos en esta lista con 3 Canarios Ardiel, Yeray y Diego.
The RIPTIDE MAGAZINE 2010 Peer Poll
Friends, it’s that time of the year once again; your chance to vote for the riders who you believe to be the best bodyboarders in the world right now. Last year Dave Winchester won his very first Peer Poll (becoming only the fifth rider to win the 20-year-old Poll). Mitch Rawlins and Ben Player finished second and third respectively – these Top 3 places being only separated by a handful of votes. 2010’s been an interesting year, with a little bit of a shake up (and some new faces) at the top of the Tour and more riders dedicated to raising the bar with their free-surfing. The level of riding seen globally has been phenomenal over the last 12 months and it’ll be a tight poll (we’re to see who can take the number one position.
At the end of the day, YOU ARE THE GUYS WHO MAKE THAT DECISION. You’re the riders who see these guys surf, day in day out, and see them compete at all the biggest competitions and in the biggest and best waves the world over. You’re the only guys who are really in a position to judge, because you see these gents ride waves on a regular basis!
Try and base your votes on the following:
From the 09/10 Canarian season, to Hawaii 08/09 and the Pipe Comp, then the South American leg of the Tour, until the European leg of the tour.
From the rest of the 2010 IBA World Tour events (including specialty events like Shark Island), to the 2010 IBA Australian Tour.
And ALL the other riding (including any videos or magazine coverage) you’ve seen between October 2009 and October 2010 and there’s been some serious shredding!
